Songs for the album were recorded in Leith Theatre during a particularly cold March. You can see the Theatre in the photos above & hear the beautiful, cavernous, open space in tracks such as the upcoming ‘Lord, I Am Grateful’ and ‘Deep, Dark River Running’.

Sessions also took place in the much warmer surroundings of Pete Harvey’s Pumpkinfield studio.

Pete and his string quartet the Pumpkinseeds then added sublime, luminous string arrangements to two tracks ‘The Things I Love Are Not At Home’ and ‘All We Are Is All There Was and All There Ever Shall Be’.

The record was originally released on 18th of September to be precise on translucent vinyl, which promptly sold out. This repress on black vinyl is limited to just 50 copies, so if you want one don't hang about.
